The sun rose early this morning.
I woke up to see my study desk being illuminated by rays of golden sunshine.
It was a depressing sight to say the least.

With exams around the corner, the past two weeks have not been great. I'm not going to go into a rant, because personally I don't enjoy reading them, but I can assure you that if I did, it would include a lot of my life is an abyss, skinny jeans, skinny jeans, and other deep&meaningful lines directed at no-one in particular. Plus I think my sentiments are already shared by most normal people in our year.

So yeah, instead I'll tell you about one of my many musings I had whilst stuck in morning traffic. The Great Moscow Circus is in town y'see. The only reason I know this is not because I'm all cultured and stuff (although not implying that going to the circus is my idea fine cultural appreciation), but rather I've been spending a good 30 minutes stationary in front of the big top everyday, for the past two weeks. And on one of these days, it occurred to me that circus life might not be such a bad life after all. You get to travel the world, you don't have to pay the bills, you're fed and showered, and moreover you'd have at least a mildly interesting blog. After a bit of researching one click google, I found that you get a bit of pocket money on top of that. $35k UD on average. With two raised eyebrows, I contemplated a career change, until I realised there was probably no place in the circus for a girl whose only claim to her name is abnormally fine dexterity over her left pinky. Hold the short jokes. Seriously though, if I had to leave med school, running away to join the glitter of the circus would definitely be the way to go.

Sigh. I guess I'll have to formulate another back-up plan for these exams.
